Shipping Policy

We currently ship to the UK mainland using Royal Mail Tracked 24 costing £4.99.

Alternatively, you can collect from Benfleet, Essex (SS7).

WHEN WE DELIVER?

  • We restock our website every Friday at 10am
  • Orders are made to order and shipped within 2-3 working days via Royal Mail Tracked 24
  • Your bakes stay fresh for 10-14 days after baking, giving you plenty of time to enjoy them
  • Example timeline: Order Friday → Baked to order → Shipped Monday → Delivered Tuesday/Wednesday

HOW DELIVERY WORKS?

Once your item is shipped, Royal Mail will provide tracking information and contact you via email/SMS with delivery notifications (please check your junk mail).

You can track your parcel using the tracking number provided or call Royal Mail on 03457 740 740.

If you/the recipient are not available to receive your parcel, you can select alternative delivery options via the link in your Royal Mail email/SMS:

  • Have your parcel left in a nominated safe place
  • Deliver to a neighbour
  • Change your delivery date
  • Collect from your local Post Office

Royal Mail will not leave your parcel in a safe place unless you have authorised them to do so via your delivery preferences.

MISSED DELIVERY

If delivery is attempted and you/the recipient are not home, Royal Mail will automatically attempt redelivery the next working day.

If delivery is missed on the second attempt and you have not selected alternative delivery options, your parcel will be held at your local delivery office for collection (18 days maximum). After 18 days, uncollected parcels will be returned to sender and destroyed given their perishable nature.

We strongly recommend selecting alternative delivery arrangements if you're not available to receive your parcel.

LETTERBOX DELIVERY

Our mixed boxes are extremely chunky (over 800g) and we use sturdy packaging to keep them safe in transit. This means they will not fit through a standard size letterbox.

DELAYS

The majority of Royal Mail Tracked 24 orders arrive on time. However, on rare occasions, Royal Mail may not be able to deliver on the expected date for reasons outside our control. If this happens, Royal Mail will inform you directly.

Royal Mail's policy precludes investigation of a missing parcel until 7 working days have elapsed from the expected delivery date. Claims must be made by the sender within 30 calendar days.

We are unable to offer refunds on the basis of courier delays.

ADDRESS ERRORS

We are completely reliant upon the address information input by the buyer when the order is placed. We ship all parcels in accordance with these buyer instructions and therefore cannot accept liability for deliveries made to incorrect addresses. We will not be able to offer refunds on this basis.
